No Monetization: Your content will never be sold, used for fundraising, or included in paid advertising.
Pure Purpose: This site exists solely to provide a "tapestry of voices" to help others feel seen, heard, and less alone.
2. Ownership & Intellectual Property
You Own Your Voice: You retain full ownership and all rights to the stories you submit.
Grant of Use: By submitting your story, you grant Village of Voices permission to feature your narrative on our website (Testimonial Page) and highlight it on our official social media channels to inspire our community.
3. Authenticity & The Editing Process
To honor the raw power of your unique journey, we do not edit stories prior to publication. * We do not correct grammar, tone, or structure.
We recommend proofreading your submission before sending it, as it will be posted exactly as received to maintain your authentic voice.
4. Visibility & Anonymity
Your comfort is our priority. You have two options for submission:
Identified: Include your name and/or a photograph to be featured alongside your story.
Anonymous: You may submit your story without a name or photo. We will respect your privacy and host your narrative anonymously.
5. Control Over Your Content (Removal Policy)
We understand that personal journeys evolve.
Direct Access: Once a story is uploaded, contributors do not have direct login access to edit or delete the post themselves.
Right to Erase: We honor your autonomy. If at any time you wish for your story to be taken down, please email us at VillageOfVoicesMail@gmail.com. We will promptly and permanently erase your narrative from our platform upon request.
6. Duration of Hosting
To serve as a long-term resource for those seeking hope and resilience, stories are hosted indefinitely. However, as noted above, this duration is entirely up to you and can be ended at any time via a removal request.
7. Data Security
Any contact information provided (such as your email address used for submission) is kept strictly confidential. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal contact details with third parties.
